My 10 years old son wants both his ears to be pierced. Is it common where you live? Would you accept it?

Sorry, but I just think it's a bad idea. I have nothing against teenagers/grown men doing it as they have a better concept of how the rest of the world will react to them. Lets face it, like it or not everyone will have something to say and he will probably get some mixed reactions. Your boy is just that and I personally wouldn't let my little man. My husbands mum let him pierce his ear to young and the hole has never closed over and it still bothers him. (he's 32). Just something else to consider............
