What is Macintosh?

it's a brand of computer made by Apple, who also makes iPods and such. You can't accuratly call a mac a macintosh, suggesting the the brand name was replaced by the shorter "mac" already used as a nickname for macintosh. It was originally named after the red macintosh apple. im my opinion it should have been red and could have ended the reign of beige a whole lot sooner.
