Roomie troubles - what should I do?

Two yrs back I took a room in an apt. The lease holder subleased the master bedroom to me. I was in a hurry to find an apt and took it although there was another person living in the living room. After the guy who was living in the living room left, my rent increased but I never got to use the the hall as the lease holder kept a lot of stuff (in card board boxes) there. He told me that if I wanted I could add my name to the lease and he would leave pretty soon. I added my name to the lease. Although I was not getting any use of the living room, I continued to pay the rent as I tend to stay away from quarrels and also felt that I got some adavntage in rent as he lived in that apt for many years. I was hoping that he would leave soon and I would get to use the living room. After I extended the lease, he told me that he would be on the lease as well and his cousin will take his room. He told me that his cousin has some stuff too which she will put in the living room for a couple of months. Again I accepted but now even after 4 months, nothing changed. Both of them have been using the room as their storage space and making me pay for it. I have asked his cousing to take the stuff to Public Storage but they refused. They said that they will make it look pretty. They have tried to arrange that stuff in an oredrely manner after a big fight but it still takes up a lot of space. I told them that they could keep the hall to themselves and I won't pay for the hall anymore but no, they are saying no...what should I do. How will I ever get to use my living room
