Would i have to wear a hospital gown during a tonsillectomy?

Usually an endoscopy room isn't "sterile" so that is probably why you were able to wear your own clothes. However, you will probably be put in an OR for a tonsillectomy which is in a sterile area. Therefore, you'll most likely have to wear a hospital gown. This is because of the germs that can be carried in on your clothes worn from home.
