My girlfriend and i just broke up?

to be honest it wasn't exactly a heartbreaking break up, but i still hurt..the thing is, she feels that we need this time to find ourselves and our true identity and for her to reestablish her relationship with God, because she's been depending her life on me and putting me before everything else, including God. Overall i understand the situation; i mean, we both still love each other, but i can't help but hang on, even though i know that i have to get over her in order for the purpose of this break up to take effect. a friend of mine told me that there is no other person for her than me, and her finding someone else is out of the question, and that this is for her to find herself and get closer to God. so im wondering, should i let her go and move on? or have faith that God will cross our paths again, and help us find ourselves before helping us find our feelings for each other again. thank you so much.
