I want to know if my husband can claim his 16 year old daughter on our taxes?

Her mother is the custodial parent, but she lives with us. She attends the school in our district and not in her mothers. My husband still pays support to her mother, but she is only with her about 4 or 5 days a month. We also provide health insurance. Oh, and they were never married.
