Does replacing a generic shower/tub with an upgraded walk-in shower depreciate the house value?

If your staying in the house for 5 or more years , get your usage and like what you have. Less than 5 the general rule of thumb is to do things to make resale better , which is a tub or a jacuzzi tub. GL
